Four Young Women Scientists Began Inertia Lab.
Driven by a shared passion for addressing the challenges women face on a monthly basis, four young women joined forces to establish INERTIA lab. Led by Hyoyi Kim, a former AI application researcher in the medical field, they recognized the lack of satisfactory solutions and embarked on a two-year journey to develop an absorbent material that prioritizes both women's well-being and sustainability. In 2021, their efforts culminated in the launch of INERTIA, a company offering organic cotton sanitary pads infused with their innovative plant-based absorbent, Labocell™.

The First Law of INERTIA
In our everyday experiences, we often encounter Newton's First Law of Motion-the Law of Inertia. Just as heavy objects possess greater inertia and resist change, important issues can appear immovable. Monthly challenges women face have long been unsolved and left as it is. At INERTIA, we embody a transformative force capable of reshaping the very essence of what matters most-womens' comfort and health. Through the ingenuity and breakthroughs crafted by women scientists, our aim is to redefine a new standard and set the First Law of INERTIA.
